Free Shipping (Freight) in the Continental U.S.

Beeson offers free freight within the continental US and ships from our NC warehouse using UPS or motor freight. Beeson Decorative Hardware & Plumbing does not have a restocking fee on products ordered from our warehouse if you observe the return policy. We will deduct our cost of shipping only from the credit. Items special ordered that are not stocked in Beeson’s Warehouse will be charged a restocking fee plus return freight based on the manufacturer’s policies. Some manufacturing companies charge higher restocking fees or deny returns the longer you wait. Custom orders in most cases are non-returnable. These fees are available upon request by contacting our sales staff. Cancellations may have fees as well. This usually relates to custom orders. Many companies ship as soon as the order is placed and will have restocking fees at that time. You must cancel the order with us and receive confirmation from us that it has been cancelled to avoid these restocking fees. Manufacturer information is not always accurate on shipping dates and we have found during cancellation of extended lead-time items that many items may have shipped. Be sure to double check your orders before placing them to avoid extra fees. We will be glad to review your order with you and help you if you are unsure of anything prior to placing the order.
RETURN POLICY
Beeson Hardware does not charge a restocking fee on products ordered from our warehouse, with the return of the product, within 30 days of purchase AND with an authorization code. Full credit will be issued on the product, less the original cost of shipping the product to you.
- Fill out Beeson’s authorization codeform and email to: returns@beesonhomefixtures.com
- An authorization code will be sent back to you within two business days
- Return the product in its original condition and safely boxed with the form
- Keep a copy of the form for your records
- An email confirmation will be sent to you upon receipt
- After placing your online order, it is your product. Deliveries normally arrive safely, but there is always the possibility of freight damage. To protect your investment, follow these procedures when receiving your order
MOTOR FREIGHT (COMMON CARRIER)
- The freight company will call to schedule the delivery. Someone will need to be present at delivery, get the product off the truck and sign for it. If the receiver tells the carrier there is no signature required and the freight is left at the destination, you have no recourse for freight claims.
- Make sure to have someone there to help you to inspect and unload the product from the truck. This is curbside delivery.
- Give everyone at the place of shipment these instructions. If they sign for the shipment, you are still responsible for the product and any damages.
- Do not sign for anything until you have opened the boxes and inspected all products for freight damage. If the truck driver is unwilling to wait for the inspection, please write on the paper work that you were unable to inspect the merchandise, and will inspect the shipment within 24 hours. The freight company is then responsible for any damage up to 24hrs.
- If any of the products or boxes are damaged or missing, make a note on the bill of lading and keep a copy of the paper work. Refuse any damaged merchandise if the driver will let you.
- Call us at toll free 1-877-240-1695 and inform us of the refused product or problems with the freight company immediately. Have your order number when calling.
UPS DELIVERIES
UPS shipments many times are left without a signature. If your package shows being delivered by UPS and is missing, you must call quickly for a trace to be started with them. If they verify delivery, we are not responsible for any loss. If you feel you are at risk of this, you may pay extra for UPS to require a signature.
- Make sure to open and inspect ALL boxes upon arrival for any damaged or missing items.
- If shipment is damaged, please refuse shipment and make note of it with the driver.
- If you are not present when the delivery is made, please inspect the product and report any problems within 24 hours to us toll free 1-877-240-1695.
